AAMP Presents: Virtual Collage Making with Shaheed Rucker

December 31, 1 pm2 pm.
Free

On the sixth day of Kwanzaa, the African American Museum in Philadelphia invites you to celebrate Kuumba (Creativity) with a unique and inspiring family-friendly digital art workshop. Kuumba encourages us to enrich and beautify our communities, and what better way to embody this principle than through the power of art?

Shaheed Rucker, AAMP’s debut exhibiting artist, takes you on an artistic journey into his personal collections and home archives. During this interactive session, Shaheed will share his creative process and guide participants in crafting a vibrant family vision board—setting powerful intentions for the New Year and fostering creativity for generations to come.

This immersive experience promises to be more than just a workshop; it’s an opportunity to reflect, create, and connect through the transformative power of art. Gather your loved ones and tune in live on Facebook or YouTube at 1 PM to be part of this enriching celebration. Make Kuumba a part of your New Year tradition!
