Black History Month in South Street Headhouse District

In honor of February being Black History Month, the South Street Headhouse District has added several new locations to its Black History on South Street: A Self-Guided Tour. Visitors throughout the district can experience the city’s rich history and culture in many new ways while visiting each stop. This tour is free and open to the public all year round, highlighting enduring Black history on and around South Street and paying tribute to Philadelphia Black history from past to present.
