Black Music Month at AAMP – Rhythms of Liberations from Juneteenth to Beyond: Jazz & Blues

June 15, 4 pm8 pm.
Free

This June, in honor of Black Music Month, AAMP invites you to join us from 4 PM to 8 PM and experience Rhythms of Liberation from Juneteenth to Beyond! This FREE event consists of an evening with a DJ, live entertainment, vendors, food, drinks, and more!

Throw on your evening wear, pull out that fringe in the back of your closet, and grab your oxfords as we hit the plaza again to celebrate the Black experience through Jazz & Blues music. Take a trip down memory lane as we dive into the sultry sounds of Nina Simone, Miles Davis, Jon Batiste, Esperanza Spalding, and so much more.

If you’re feeling so moved, we welcome you to hit the mic and bless the crowd with a little bit of spoken word or poetry accompanied by the soulful sounds of Jazz and Blues.

Savor the moment with food and visit the JellyKisses Lounge for a smooth whiskey drink. One FREE glass of wine will be available courtesy of our wine sponsor, City Winery.

Shop with our vendors locally sourced by All Black Everything and help support Black entrepreneurs.
