Creative Conversations: Researching Opportunities

Once a quarter, DVAA hosts Creative Conversations to gather and get into the nitty gritty of professional development within our artistic practice. DVAA uses art to connect people and build collective resilience in spaces across Greater Philadelphia. Please consider a donation of $10 to support this event and more like it!

For this session of Creative Conversations, DVAA’s Executive Director, Sam, will be leading us through the methodologies they’ve developed over the last 12 years to gather and organize opportunity information, like exhibition open calls, grant deadlines, and residency openings. We’ll discuss how to set up a database, strategies to keep track of deadlines, deciding which opportunities to apply for, and open call resource lists.
