Join Andalusia Historic House, Gardens & Arboretum for a day filled with fun for the whole family! The second annual Family Fun Day will take place on Saturday, September 13th with outdoor yoga, children’s storytimes and crafts, special tours, and craft beer for sale.

STORYTIME & CRAFTS: (11:00am & 2:00pm) Join Ms. Houda from the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library for a special storytime at Andalusia Gardens! Enjoy Greek mythology–inspired tales, and a fall-themed craft surrounded by the beauty of the garden.

YOGA IN THE GARDENS: (11:00am) This one-hour outdoor Vinyasa Flow style yoga session hosted by Atlas Yoga & Movement will allow guests to exercise amidst nature on a cozy mulch wood path. Participants should bring their own yoga mat and a blanket for extra comfort. Tickets are $30 per person and grants you admission to the gardens as well.

GODS IN THE GARDENS TOUR: (3:30pm) Andalusia’s Big House is a masterpiece of Greek Revival architecture, but the allusions to ancient Greece don’t stop there. Guests will join Executive Director John Vick for a one-hour walk around the historic site with stops at buildings, statues, and other locations to hear stories from Greek mythology. This tour is free for members and included with admission of any kind. It is suitable for adults and children in elementary school or older. No reservations are required.

CRAFT BEER FOR SALE: Our upstream neighbors Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company will be selling craft beers to enjoy during your visit. Available to guests 21+ with a valid ID.

CHAMPAGNE GARDEN TOUR: (4:30pm) Horticulturist Kristin Biddle will give a guided tour of our formal gardens after enjoying a glass of champagne and light refreshments on the Big House porch. Limited tickets are available for $65 each.

HISTORIC HOUSE TOURS: Tours of Andalusia’s Big House will take place at 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:00pm & 2:30pm. We suggest purchasing tickets in advance as tours may sell out.
