June 19, 10 am4 pm.

Culture, history, liberation, and celebration take center stage at the 2024 Juneteenth Block Party with the African American Museum in Philadelphia!

Join AAMP as we continue the legacy of Juneteenth and celebrate our 48th anniversary as one of the first institutions funded and built by a major municipality to preserve, interpret, and exhibit the heritage of African Americans. In partnership with Wawa and Welcome America, AAMP will host an all-day, family-friendly outdoor festival with several hosts from W.U.R.D. Radio, with entertainment, activations, games, and education for everyone to enjoy!

Courtesy of Wawa, guests will have free admission to the museum to explore the new exhibition, Imprint: Dox Thrash: Black Life, and American Culture.

Admittance into the museum requires online registration. Entry is on a first-come, first-base basis and in accordance with gallery capacity.
