Lisa and Lori Brigantino return to The Tavern Concert Series in Historic Richmond Town

Lisa and Lori Brigantino return to The Tavern in Historic Richmond Town, State Island, NY on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 for their fourth appearance to perform Lisa’s original songs and select covers.  With a nearly 20-year history of concerts being presented in the 200 year-old setting, the tavern comes to life with period-authentic servers pouring mugs of beer, wine, and hot mulled cider in the flickering glow of candles, in a room warmed by a wood-burning pot belly stove. The sisters will perform two shows:  One at 6pm and then a second show at 8pm.

Park Slope, Brooklyn residents Lisa and Lori Brigantino grew up 60 miles north of New York City in Katonah, NY where they started making music together as children. The sisters are known for their tight sibling harmonies and musicianship – often juggling a number of different instruments including guitar, banjo, accordion, ukulele, percussion and more.

The Brigantino sisters regularly perform at a variety of clubs, coffeehouses, house concerts and have been selected to appear at notable conferences and music festivals including The New Jersey Folk Festival (Singer/Songwriter Showcase Winner), The Ladybug Music Festival, Folk Alliance, The Florida Music Festival, Maplewoodstock, The Rockland-Bergen Music Festival, Cape May Singer/Songwriter, The Pleasantville Music Festival, The Black Potatoe Festival, The Wellfleet Porchfest.  Most recently, they performed at City Winery, NYC with Terre Roche (founding member of The Roches) in celebration of the release of Terre’s new album Kin Ya See That Sun.
