Make Music Philly is a FREE festival taking place in various neighborhoods in Philadelphia, PA and its surrounding suburbs on June 21 every year.

This year the Elements Of Hip Hop (eohhphilly.com) has collaborated with Make Music Philly to produce an eight hour event dedicated to hip hop on the lawn of the Leon Sullivan Charitable Trust building at 1415 north Broad street near Temple University in north Philadelphia. 11am-7pm.

Participation is encouraged from all ages, genres, from indie rock to bluegrass to a cappella, from music students to professional artists and everything in-between.

Make Music Philly’s primary goals are to provide an equal platform for musicians of all skill levels, interests and walks of life to inspire the next generation of musicians through innovative outreach programming.

This celebration is not limited to residents of Philly, but invites music enthusiasts from everywhere to come participate by performing, attending or volunteering.

The event will be recorded by Reel Black who has more than one million YouTube followers and this is a great opportunity for national exposure for everyone involved and we’re excited to provide the platform.

Participants can register at philly.makemusicday.org. Looking forward to June 21st!!
