New York’s 50th Annual Village Halloween Parade
Join hundreds of puppets, 53 bands of different types of music, dancers and artists, and thousands of other New Yorkers in costumes of their own creation in NYC’s special brand of carnivale! This years theme is Upside/Down : Inside/OUT – in the last few years we have seen our world turn UPSIDE/DOWN and we all went inside – not just inside to our apartments and houses, but inside ourselves. For a while it felt like we were living between two worlds! Now is the time to come OUT into that new world – but, now that we have had time to reflect on it–what do we want to come out as? Are we the same or have we changed? And, then take that to your costume self!
To march in the parade line up at 6th Ave and Canal St. Only costumed marchers are allowed in the parade.
To observe you can find a spot on 6th Avenue from King Street to 15th Street. The parade ends on West 15th Street and 6th Ave.
