ONE LINER MADNESS is a Time Out Critics’ Pick show that travels the country to find the best joke writer in every city.

On Friday, March 14, the show returns to Johnny Brenda’s for its second year. Get ready to see 64 Philly comedians go head-to-head in a fast-paced, bracketed, single-elimination, one-liner joke contest. Audience applause determines which performers advance, and who ultimately becomes the 2025 ONE LINER MADNESS CHAMPION and winner of the trophy and cash prize. It’s just like a March Madness tournament, but 100 minutes, and with jokes instead of basketballs.

Hosted by Emily Winter (E!, The New Yorker, NPR), Carolyn Busa (host of The Moth Ball storytelling show), and Larry Mancini (ESPN Radio).
Tickets are $15 adv/$20 at the door. (Advance purchase recommended.) Doors at 8PM, show at 9PM.
