Philly Sketchfest Sketch Comedy Festival

Get ready to laugh until your sides ache, because the 16th Annual Philly Sketchfest Comedy Festival is back and bigger than ever! From Weds, June 4th through Saturday, June 14th, 2025, comedy aficionados from near and far will gather for a week-long event filled with hilarious and homegrown live sketch-comedy shows.

Since its inception, Philly Sketchfest has been dedicated to nurturing and showcasing the immense talent within Philadelphia’s comedy community, and this year is no exception. With over 35 national and international sketch comedy groups slated to perform, along with a lineup of unique live shows and performances (featuring everything from Daily Show writers to full-on comedy dissections of all things Taylor Swift), this festival promises to be one outrageous event.

The festivities will take place at the MacGuffin stage of the Adrienne Theater, located at 2030 Sansom St, Philadelphia, PA 19107, with additional sketch comedy showcases taking place at Plays & Players and Sawubona. These iconic venues will serve as the epicenter of laughter, merriment and increasingly ridiculous comedy premises throughout the festival, featuring a rotating series of shows in the vein of Saturday Night Live, Kids in the Hall, and Key & Peele.

In addition to its live events, Philly Sketchfest will also be hosting its 10th Sketch Comedy Film Festival, which will feature shorts by comedians and funny filmmakers from Philadelphia and beyond. The film festival will take place at PhilaMOCA on Wednesday, June 4, 2024 at 7:30pm.
