Salon Violette Presents – Pisces Party!

Introducing Salon Violette at The Black Squirrel Club, a bi-monthly performance space curated by singer and performance artist, Marcelle McGuirk.

Marcelle (she/they) is a classically trained soprano whose performance work ranges from opera to modern musical theatre & cabaret to drag & burlesque (as the handsome king, Violet Caballero). With the Salon Violette series, Marcelle wants to welcome folks into the wonderful world of classical song in an intimate, non-intimidating space, that allows room for questions, conversations, and an up-close and personal look at the artistic process.

The first installation is a Pisces Party, a shameless way to celebrate Marcelle’s birthday season with friends and strangers-who-are-soon-to-be-friends!

Are you also a Pisces? We’ll celebrate you, too (don’t be surprised if we sing Happy Birthday)!

You can look forward to Marcelle singing some of her favorite songs ranging from Mozart to jazz standards, delicious libations from the Black Squirrel staff (cash bar), birthday treats from Tres Fiori, scintillating conversations, and more surprises!
