SCC Glass Education Center’s Open Studio Event

SCC Glass Education Center’s Open Studio Event, Glass Sale, and Hands-On Glass Workshops! Free admission!

Admission to the Glass Education Center and the sale is free! The sale will feature handmade glass items including pumpkins, flowers, jewelry, vases and paperweights from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. While visiting the center, guests may tour the glass studios, view our glass collections, and watch glassmaking in action!

Also on September 21st, the glass center will be running several hands-on glassmaking workshops. No glass experience is necessary, but please note minimum age requirements for each experience. September’s workshop projects include blown glass pumpkins, flameworked glass hearts, and fused glass photo frames. Details and registration for our September hands-on glass workshops can be found at www.salemcc.edu/glass/experience. No registration necessary if not participating in a hands-on activity.
