Sunnyside Post Halloween Mile

The Sunnyside Post Mile is back with a Halloween theme, where runners and walkers are encouraged to dress with the holiday in mind. Note: Halloween costume is optional. The event will include prizes for the best dressed costume for adults as well as kids. There will also be a prize for the best dressed family. Most runners will probably dress in typical sporting attire and all registered participants get a free Sunnyside Post Mile t-shirt.

SKILLMAN DASHES
Children’s Skillman Dashes begin at 10:45 a.m. and will line up on Skillman Avenue close to 45th Street, running towards the Mile finish line at 44th Street. Ribbons for all Dashers will be given after each Dash.

The Dash Distances are As Follows
50 yards – 2-5 year olds
100 yards – 6-9 year olds
