The Joe Hill Revival
Songwriter and IWW activist Joe Hill—executed by the state of Utah in 1915—steps into Brooklyn Art Haus to update his legacy and relate how workers 100 years ago fought for their lives and their dignity. 9 actors and a 4-piece band (including banjo) bring this story—ever more relevant in today’s world—back to life with inspiring song and dance. It’s time for a musical that revives the dreams of the working class movement!
Opening night—Sept 30, 7pm. Followed by 2pm matinee shows every Saturday: Oct 7, 14, 21 & 28. 2.5 hours with a 10-minute intermission. Food and drinks available from the cafe/bar at BAH. For tickets: https://www.stellartickets.com/…/the-joe-hill-revival
