Washington’s Farewell

Join Independence Historical Trust for an evening of toasts, tastings, and Revolutionary camaraderie at Washington’s Farewell! This 4th annual event loosely recreates George Washington’s 1787 farewell party at the close of the Constitutional Convention, hosted by the First City Troop. The original tab tallied over 89 pounds – or $15,000+ in today’s money! Beverage partners for the night include: Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey, Philadelphia Mead Company, and Yard’s Brewing, Manoff Market Cidery, Millstone Spirits, and Spotted Horse Provisions. Tickets include food + drink, plus beverage tastings.
