West Chester Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting
Voted one of USA Today’s Top Places to See Santa Claus, as well as “Best Local Parade” and “Best Family-Friendly Event” by readers of Main Line Today, the West Chester Christmas Parade transports you to the hometown holiday of your dreams amidst more than 80,000 lights during Chester County Hospital Lights Up Holiday Weekends in West Chester presented by the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce. The official lighting of West Chester’s stunning new 28-foot Christmas tree begins Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. with live musical performances on the lawn of the Historic Chester County Courthouse. Then at 7 p.m., join emcees Adam Joseph, of 6abc, and Kathy Romano as the historic streets of downtown West Chester fill with your favorite marching bands, dance troupes and holiday surprises including the most-anticipated appearance of them all: Santa!
The purchase of the new tree was made possible through the generosity of donors Adam Loew and Eli Kahn, West Pharmaceutical Services and the Barry Family.
