Enjoy a day of fun science activities for the whole family! Tinker, dance, learn about birds, make a hand robot, and so much more!
10am-5pm | MakerSPACE: A fun interactive area where kids play, tinker, and create (self-facilitated).
11:30am-12:15pm & 1:30-2:15pm | Music Show: 123 Andrés: 123 Andrés, the Latin Grammy-winning, GRAMMY-nominated duo for kids and families are known for their interactive, high-energy shows. They bring fresh original songs that blend Spanish and English, with an eclectic mix of sounds from all corners of Latin America. 123 Andrés packs their show with positive vibes and energetic songs that get the whole family dancing and learning.
12pm & 2pm | Planetarium Show: Beyond the Sun, Suitable for ages 6+. | 25 minutes: Journey with Celeste and Moon through the Universe to discover rogue planets, oceanic worlds, and super-Earths in their search for exoplanets.
12-12:45pm | Creative Play: Feathered Friends, Suitable for ages 3-5: Learn about birds as we visit Animal Kingdom, learn simple ways to ID birds, and then make your own bird feeder to bring the birds in your neighborhood to you!
1pm & 3pm | Planetarium Show: Extreme Planets, Suitable for ages 10+. | 32 minutes: For centuries, humanity has wondered whether we are alone in the Universe. This show explores what makes a planet “Earth-like” and tours several worlds that just might fit the conditions we’re looking for.
1-4pm | Science Drop-In: Make a Robot Hand, Suitable for ages 5+: Think like an engineer as you make and test out your own robotic hand!
1-4pm | Family Drop-In: Good Vibrations, Suitable for ages 5+: Explore vibrations through making and playing your own single-headed drum.
